These workshops are intended for interpreters who wish to improve their contemporary repertory in practice, whether the works are with or without electronics.
The trainees will work in an in-depth manner with the guest professors and the musical assistants of Ircam.
They will have to propose, in their application form, a program that will give priority to the works of the guest composers, but also of works emanating from the whole contemporary repertory.
A detailed attention will be paid to the interpretation of Olivier Messiaen’s works, as a prelude to the manifestations of the Centenary.
They must have good knowledge of the works presented before the beginning of the training course.
