The public workshop will present the electronic works created by the young student composers and dancers from the Zoo Company. The workshop, presented by Thomas Hauert and Thierry De Mey, will explain the process of cooperative writing for music and dance implemented during the classes. Improvised choreographic sketches created by the dancers from a score by Salvatore Sciarrino will also be performed live.

In Vivo Théâtre

Four young directors Emilie Rousset, Matthieu Roy, Cyril Teste, Guillaume Vincent) have decided to address the question of technology in vivo. Surrounded by a few actors, authors (Olivier Cadiot, Anne Kawala, Mariette Navaro, Frédéric Vossier), and technicians, with the support of IRCAM and the Comédie de Reims, these directors have created a research group on Ludovic Lagarde, director of the Comédie de Reims and familiar with the IRCAM laboratories, that will last for one artistic season. This group will explore and learn technologies for transforming voices, for sound diffusion, and for gesture-sound interaction and test them on body and stage. After three experimentation sessions in Paris and Reims during the year, acanthes@ircam will present this studio work, preludes to later stage productions, at the CENTQUATRE and at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord.
